Music Industry Exec Liz Kamlet — Marketing Guru and Guitar Collector
Los Angeles-based music executive and guitar aficionado Liz Kamlet is the driving force behind Windsong Entertainment and the Director of Talent & Marketing at REAL.App.
Liz’s work at Windsong Entertainment revolves around the creation and management of creative content, encompassing social media and marketing for artists and major brands such as Phil Collins, Stephen Bishop, BMG, Sony, Jack Temphin (Eagles songwriter), Jimmy Webb, Jackson Browne, and David Pack.
Her clients have amassed more than two billion collective streams, along with selling more than 100 million records and receiving numerous Grammy Awards and Oscar Awards. In addition overseeing content, Liz also provides services including advertising, videos, strategic branding, sync licensing, tour management, TikTok, and website design.
As Director of Talent & Marketing for REAL.App, a tech startup, Liz is part and parcel of a platform that connects creators and fans, allowing fans primary access to extensive content prior to its appearing on other platforms. REAL.App lets creators establish their own price points for uploaded content.

Liz’s background and qualifications are exceptional: a bachelor’s degree in History and Music Technology from The University of Colorado at Boulder, a master’s in Music Industry Administration (Music Business) from Cal State Northridge, as well as a second master’s degree from Harvard in Management and Digital Media Design.
Talking about her approach, Liz told Guitar International, “The primary strategy is to always increase awareness for an artist’s brand. I always tell other social media managers that if they are taking over an artist’s socials or working with an existing team, you do not need to know everything. However, you need to have resources or contacts available to you to help solve problems as they arise.”
